Setting Your Computer's Resolution
Our new site is best viewed at a monitor resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher.
Our new site uses pop-up windows extensively. This feature allows you to view linked information while staying on a specific web page. Please be sure to "allow pop-ups" in your specific browser for our site. You can find information on how to do this in the help files of your particular browser.
In order to view all media on this site, you will need to download and install these browser plug-ins if your system does now already have them:

"Districtwide" eMail Notifications
In the re-design process of our website, a newer more efficient method of transmitting notifications has become available. It is now necessary to have an account on our new system in order to continue to receive Districtwide email notifications.
- Primary Contact Parents/Guardians (those listed as the primary contact in Infinite Campus), faculty members, and administrators already are in our new system, and therefore do NOT need to create an account or do anything at this time.
- Anyone else, including HHH employees NOT listed above such as clericals, custodians, para-professionals, etc, wishing to receive "Districtwide" email notifications (those notices posted on the Home page of the District website) should click the subscribe button below to create an account.

On each page of the site, the above icons appear.
Clicking on the first icon will allow you to email the currently viewed page to yourself or to a friend.
Clicking on the second icon will open up a window with a printer friendly preview of the currently viewed page.
Clicking on the last icon will allow you to view text in the page in a larger or smaller size.
The District calendar is available through the calendar drop down menu at the top of each page.
Upcoming Districtwide events are found in the right banners of each District category page and are pulled from the calendar.
A calendar specific to each school is available within each school site. Upcoming calendar events from the calendar for each school is found in the right banners on each school's innerpages.
At the right top of each page you will find the following icons that will help you customize how you view each calendar:
As you navigate deep into a site page, you will see a "trail" of where you are on the site in blue boxed letters at the top of the page. This will enable you to backtrack to a page you have just viewed simply by clicking on the "crumb". You may also use the "back" button of your browser.
At the top of each page is a search engine for the contents of the website. If you place a keyword or keywords here, all instances of that word(s) will appear in another window.
New Faculty Directory and Website Links
You can access a District Faculty and Website Directory in the "Contacts" drop down tab at the top of each page.
You can also access a specific school's Faculty and Website Directory by going to each school site.
The new Directories allow you to search for staff members in various ways.
The "profile" part of a staff member's record shows their eBoard website link.

Clicking on the Half Hollow Hills logo at the top of any page will bring you to the home page:
Media Gallery Links
Clciking on a Media Gallery link will bring you to a slideshow and video viewer.
Clicking on the Media Gallery link on a specific school's site will bring you directly to that school's media.
You can, however, navigate to different school "channels" to view events and celebrations in our schools:
News and News Archive Pages
At the bottom of our home page you will find the latest Distrctwide news and announcements. All news items are eventually archived on the site "News Archives" pages where they are searchable by keyword and date. Each school site has its own news area and news archive page, too.
Handbooks and Catalogs in "book format"
You will now find District and school handbooks and large multipage documents in an easy to read "book" format. This allows the viewer to read these documents without having to download them.
